The Broker Behind Mechanics Insurance

Frans du Plessis, Founder & Director

Frans founded the brokerage in 2015. His insurance career began in South Africa, where he was leading a team of 27 by his mid twenties, before building his own practice around personalised service in Australia.

He built Mechanics Insurance on a simple principle: treat clients like people, not policy numbers. Today he still leads the team that arranges cover for mechanics and motor trade businesses across the country, keeping the advice practical and the communication plain.
